3. Do not overfill the machine with oil, especially during cold weather as it may cause the oil to become sticky and the machine to run poorly. Regular sewing machine oil is sufficient. Add oil easily by inserting the long mouth bottle into the lubricating hole or removing the screw and adding oil manually.
